July 14, 2003Women were designed for homemakingCan we please, please, please implement mandatory education in logic and statistical analysis yet? All I want is just the tensiest little bit of comprehension of "cause vs. correlation" and the ability to discern the salient points on which someone's argument rests before you provide counterexamples? Is that too much to ask? Really? "Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker." Okay, I know cruel found this, but I hardly think their choice of descriptive quote does justice to this -- this shameless abuse of children's educations. posted by CheekyMonkey at 02:28 AM CommentsHello, Your site is great. abra2 abra3 http://www.abra1.com http://www.abra4.com Regards, Valiintino Guxxi Posted by: Valintino at March 26, 2008 12:53 AM |
